I have some problems with power cables...

I do not know it this has happened to anyone, but I think that maybe some of my snail or sea urchins ate some of the power cable to my power head. This lead to some short circuit, so I got rid of the power head. The power cable was basically eaten to the metal part of the cable.

I was thinking of buyin some tubing and covering the other power head power cord that are still in the tank to avoid this from happeening again.

Any suggestions?

 

That's interesting. I wonder if you could get a small piece of PVC , cut it lengthwise.. slide the cable in and glue it back up.

 

I was thinking of doing that exact same thing but with like vinyl tubing.

My pencil urchn chewed up one of my power head cords, I thought about taking plain old plastic tubing and cutting it down the center and slipping it over the cord

 

id find out who did it and get it out of there, or buy a vortech
