I have an odd question about aquarium storage.....

Even though I am not ready to set it up yet, I was thinking about going into the market and trying to find a used 75/120.........but I dont know what to do with it. Im hesitant to put in in my shed because it gets to atleast 130 degrees in there during the peak of summer, possible hotter. But I dont know what to do with it if I leave it in the house and have this big bulky glass box just laying around. Any Ideas? Its just that lately Ive come across some good deals, but passed because of this situation.......

 

wait so your looking for a tank but can't set it up yet and need a place to store it?

 

Its not that I am actively looking (yet), but Ive seen a couple deals that I passed on because Im not ready to set it up yet.

 

Try keeping it outside, but shaded from the sun. Luna

 

I kept a 75 in storage last summer and didnt have any problems with it, till I shattered it moving it around the house lol

 

You could put a sheet of plywood on top and use it like a coffee table....

 

Exactly what I was thinking. Just put a table cloth on it. Stereo stand. Nic Naks. Whatever.

 

Not a bad idea, considering I dont have a coffee table.

 

I dont know why they moved this thread here, I was really only looking for feed back from people in my area.
