    Welcome to California taxes!! My bill hovers around 100 bucks and I live in a dinky apartment. I'm only there 5 days a week also. 400 bucks is pretty painful though OUCH

    Exactly. I'm not suggesting the power company has the better argument. I only want to point out they have arguments they can make an no shortage of lawyers sitting around the office bored and playing solitaire who might as well go make them. It is also true that for this very reason small claims tends to be kind to small plaintiffs.
