I hate my mexican snail right now!

Well I was watching my tank all the sudden I heard a clunk clunk clunk in my drain, well only found 2 of my 3 snails, that sob fell all the way down my pipe, gonna have to wait for him to come out now. Im so mad cuz hes to a point were I cant get him out unless I cut my pvc!

 

I think I'd have to get it out right now. That's a potential flood imo.

 

lol ya its not a full size and its a 1 1/2 inch pipe, ive been keeping a damn close eye on the water level.

 

I got rid of my turbo snails.. they are bulldozers.

 

they knock over anything in my tank that isnt glued down

 

Mine do wonders for me. It's impossible for them to leave the tank or enter the overflow, short of crawling out or crawling over.

However, super glue has become my friend.

 

well after a 3 day journey he made it down to my sump, just looked in and bam he was hanging on the drain pipe, lol well hes back up in my DT and theres egg crate coverign the drain now, lil punk!

 

I feel your pain. The same just happened to me. Mine clogged the overflow but I caught it in time.
