I hate freakin limpits now!

So for those of you that don't know, i had a big limpit spawing last week that turned my tank a milky white. Now I look in the tank tonight and from what it looks like, one has devoured my baby toadstool. It was doing better than healthy yesterday and now the only thing on it's rock is the nerite, maybe he somehow pulled it off the rock or what, idk. There is also one that is camped on top of my new yellow zoas preventing them from opening at all. He's been on there for a good 3 days now. Anyone else have problems with these guys?

 

Not really. I have quite a few in the tank, and I'm fairly sure they spawned while I've had them, as there's many tiny limpets around.

 

I also had them spawn with no problems. I didn't know they did until they started popping up all over my tank.

 

Yeah, when mine spawned, I have the keyhole limpets, they all went to the highest place they could find and simultaneously shot white stuff out of the little holes at the top of their shells. They each did it multiple times.

 

oh yeah... limpets will spawn A LOT i started with one, now im at the point where ill happily give away as many as i can catch! they will literally take over as your dominant CUC given enough time

 

limpets are carnivorous? what kind are they? species id?
