i got coralline growing on my Mangroves is that bad?

    i looked at my mangroves and they are getting covered in purple coralline is that bad?

    mmm... seeing as how the algae is not parasitic i cannot see how they are hurting it. are your mangroves doing okay?

    Is it on the leaves or the base? IMO, it shouldn't be growing on something that is alive. It doesn't grow on corals.

    Well they are doing good.. They have doubled in size and I already have leaves too.
    The coralline is growing on the base near the roots, And some right on the roots ( I think) one of them has it almost half it's base from the root up..

    But like I said they are doing ok, but just got me worried because it's a lot and fast growing coralline on them.

    tough one, if theres any actually on the roots you should remove it from there, and also if it begins growing on the leaves (if youve got them submerged) remove it from there immediately, it will prevent photosynthesis
