i found a brittle star in my tank today

    its just a baby, about the size of my pinky nail but im worried because my tank isn't done cycling yet. what should i do?

    Nothing. It will live, just leave it alone.

    This is actually a sign that your tank is doing well, you will probably find many more in your tank later on.

    thanks! =] do you really think i have more? i just bought LR and LS on monday so my tanks only been running for 4 days. what do brittle stars actually do for the tank? i never considered buying one for my tank...

    You typically don't buy them... They just scavenge really, they don't do much. Just more for the tank.
