i dont think i have got this right please help???

    here is my skimmer i dont think ive got it setup right.theres tiny bubbles flying around everywhere???????
    why is there so much air being blown out ???

    Its breaking in, they will eventually disappear

    Could be a couple of days, could be a week or so. You will see a thick foam start to develop in the neck of the skimmer and started spilling over into the collection cup. The water in the bottom of the skimmer will also clear of bubbles.

    so in my video have i set it up right, its really noisey to will the noise calm down too?

    The noise probably won't change much. You could try padding the skimmer somehow in the places where it is touching the tank?

    I doubt the noise will get much better. That's one benefit of having a sump, you can stick it down there and close the doors. If the bubbles don't get much better, you can try to add a sponge filter in the out take or even add a filter sock.

    + on the sponge filter or filter sock, just be sure to clean regularly or could cause the cup to overflow. I would look at getting a muffler for your air intake would silence it a lot. your lfs should be able to help you with that or you could diy.
