WikiAnswers - How many cubic feet are in a gallon

the LxWxH divided by 1728 is just the formula for determing cubic feet, 7.48 gallons per cubic foot

    your tank is 193.2333333333333333333333333333333333333333...

I got 193.2 gallons with my calculations. Are you sure its 62x30x24? That's an odd size.

I can buy 90 gallons used for less than a buck a gallon-The cost of the glass and time is not worth that-but the biggest question/concern would be what if the sucker comes unglued or leaks-If your asking how that would suggest you have not done it, are you comfortable with the risk?

Dude I am a huge DYI, from electrical wiring, framing, plumbing etc. but building a tank-not worth the time/risk.

Good luck with that endevor if you go down that path
