Right now we’re under a sever T-storm Warning, and a tornado watch.we’re in the hallway because the wind has been gusting up to 60 mph. And all this will continue until 7 am.

The wind wasn’t what was scary. (Although we don’t get 60mpg wind every day)
But knowing we were under a tornado watch, and the wind making strange sounds. (I’ve never been in a tornado, but I’ve heard they sound like a train.) And the thunder was really noisy. I live in fl, so I’m used to t-storms, but I haven’t been thro a storm like that in a long time. (Just as I was typing, lightning struck something close, and rattled the house)
Most of the storm was over by 3:30 (am) later when the storm clears up I’m going to go out side and see if theirs any damage.

Any other Fl members have bad storms last night.

Storms suck..I grew up in central Illinois..spent many nights in the basement hoping the roof didn't get sucked off. Then I moved to Mobile, AL a week before hurricane Ivan hit (kind of ironic..). Nothing you can do but ride them out and put yourself in the safest place possible.

We had a pretty bad chain of storms come through this past weekend. There were tornado watches/warnings all over the state. Got some much needed rain though. Glad you made it!

    Gee Thanks

Yea we are now getting the weather here too... Palm Beach was under tornado warnings this morning and in Ft Lauderdal the Sky is just Black. Almost looks like a hurricane coming (calm before the storm)

I hope this is not a prelude to a horrid Hurricane season

I honestly wish I was there. The weather is so boring in California, especially where I live. We have a 50% chance of rain for tomorrow and everyone is talking like its some big event and they dont want it to rain. I really like intense weather, the thunder and lightning and wind, its all good. I dont need the tornado though. Good luck, stay safe. As long as you dont live in a mobile home you should be fine ;D
