    Mine are quiet, you have to be standing next to the tank to see when they switch back and forth.

    WOW...we got flow ! It is stirring things up quite a bit, I did not realize I had so many dead spots...doing some adjusting, trying to keep them facing across from end to end... that's kind of a hassle, but I hear it is optimal, so I will get it done.
    I will post some vid and/or pix when I have things dialed in. Corals are beginning to appreciate it...but my big candy might need to be moved...the day glow green candy is eating it up.. trumpets as well..and certainly the fish !!..oh well, everyone is different...I got a busy day, so I am going to let them acclimate to the new conditions and see how things look later.
    Thanx for all the advice and support...and BTW..they are quiet... barely hear a click when standing right next to the tank...perfect. : )

    I have dual 1050's and 1400's in my 75 on the smart wave maker. Works great and doesn't make any noise.

    They aren't bad at all. I've never had a Hydor or Maxijet quit on my though in 10 years so I can say.

    I have maxi jets now and I hate them. They fall off the glass all the time and blow sand everywhere
