two options for 90G, mixed reef (one or two SPS, GSP, a clam, Frogspawn, ect, ect) :

    A.) one MP10 ($235)

    B.) Hydor smart wave controler ($70), with 2 Magnum 6's ($80 each)

I would keep what ever you have now and save more money and get an mp40.In a 90 I don't think an mp10 would be impressive.Just my input.

I agree. Ive personally never seen any of these pumps. but from what research ive done the 10 will be kind of small. Not to mention, will it even fit the thickness of a 90?? im not sure but i know it cant be too thick of glass. if your thinking anything vortec, do it. seriously cuz when you shell out that much on the hydors a little more will get you programability, wireless (if you get that model) and its just 1 pump youll see not a bunch.

cus thats 250 over budget, i know i could "save up for it" but my wife is the type who would say , "you just bought a stupid pump, you dont need a nother one!" so this has to be a one time purchase, because i wont get a nother oppertunity. heh..

I have 2 mp10w-es on my 75 flow is ok you would definitely want at least 2. but I wish I would have gotten the mp40 and dialed it back some maybe if i needed to. I am now considering getting a third mp10 for the back wall.

No video. But I can make a wave across the tank with both pumps set to anti sync on the ecosmart setting. they are both set 11" down from the top of the tank. they are turned all the way up & at full power they do have a slight hum. the tank is in my livingroom, when the TV is on you cant hear them but if TV is off you can. not a real problem for me but some might not like this aspect. just something else for you to think about.
