With my recent growout tank addition the humidity in my house has drastically increased. Going into winter here in PA, this is causing some issues around my house (both short term and long term).
So obviously a dehumidifier... But what are some other fixes for my high humidity?

P.S. if anyone knows a lot about dehumidifiers and what sizes or brands are best to look into, please speak up!

I leave windows open and keep the radiator turned up in my apartment.

i saw a post about dehumidifiers not too long ago....im no expert but i know some guy that sounded like he knew what he was talking about said that the larger model dehumidifiers are actually more cost effective because they draw less power and dont need to stay on as long the smaller ones tend to be on non stop and have trouble keeping up with the load....also i remember them saying to drill a hole if one is not already there in your reservoir and run it to a drain so you dont have to drain it every so often....sorry if i couldnt be much help but thats all i remember but im sure someone else will chime in

    That was me.
    Here's the post I wrote:

Get the biggest one you can afford. The pints rating is more of how much moisture it can remove per 24hrs than anything else. The larger the rating the more efficient it will be. It will actually cost you less money in electricity costs to run a larger dehumidifier as undersized units run the compressor more often and can struggle to keep up with the demand. I have the Soleus Energy Star 70-Pint Dehumidifier DP1-70-03A purchased from Walmart. Works incredibly well.
