Not puffers, I meant huffers. People who enjoy inhaling chemicals for a cheap high. I have no worldly idea why it is people would think it was a good idea or even try it. I found out the hard way today how ****ty it really is.

I have been assembling the plumbing so I can add a sump to my puffer tank. I cut measured and glued all my plumbing a week ago. Rinsed it and installed it. I then put my mouth on the vent to to help prime it, inhaled, and got a mouth full of fumes. I instantly felt sick, and eventually the vomiting stopped after all of my stomach contents had found their way to the toilet. Consulted a family doctor and am now feeling far better.

Needless to say, I will not be making that mistake again.

Wow! This happened a week after gluing it? Glad you're alright. I too don't see how people can enjoy that kind of stuff. "Intervention" on A&E is always an eye opener.

Yeah, it was weird. I started working on this project last weekend, and planned on giving it the typical 24 hr treatment, but I ended up getting bogged down all week with work and didn't get back to it until today. To top it off, it had been sitting out on my porch and not a confined area to help dispurse the residuals. I didn't even smell it when I leaned over so it couldn't have been that strong. Luckily I felt the burn right away and didn't suck to much of it in, and got absolutely none of the liquid chemical.

They sell the supposed low vapor stuff, though I couldn't really tell any difference.

Well I'm back to normal today. Extremely hungry, but I think the reason behind that is somewhat obvious.
