He took me to our LFS, the one that is amazing, and I picked out two Ocellaris Clownfish. They were already paired and are TINY :) Thanks to the wonderful makeshiftcrew for naming my duo: Bonnie and Clyde. Right now they are acclimating slowly and will post pictures when they are in their new home. They are my first fish. Welcome home my babies!!! BTW: They had frozen there too!!!

Question though: He said they were fed 3x a day...it seemed to me to be a little much. What do you think and any suggestions? I did purchase the frozen and have a turkey baster to feed them with. I also have flakes as well to see if I can mix it up for them.

To me that seems a bit much i usually only feed once a day and thats in the morning..id slowly reduce it to mabe two times a day for a while, but i would wait till they have settled in thier tank, thats stressful enough.

They are very active swimmers but three times a day is asking for trouble IMO.I would probably do small pinches of flakes for them 5 days a week and maybe some frozen misis or brine once a week for a treat. Flakes tend to keep your water cleaner then frozen unless of course you overfeed. They will also eat krill which can sometimes be more cost effective because they can be purchased freeze dryed and have a much longer shelf life then frozen. Good luck you are gonna love em.8)Pics please.
p.s. when you do feed frozen make sure you put it in a small net and rinse it good.

    Congrats! They sound adorable!!

three times a day is a bit much, but twice a day I think is fine. Just do smaller amounts each time. They are tiny, like you said, and growing, so they need the fuel!

Ya I will probably do small amounts 3x a day for a week or week and half then down to two then one.

I like both of those ideas! I'll mix the frozen with the flakes until they will eat mostly flakes. Maybe a couple of times a week they will get frozen LOL

And I have a turkey baster to try and target feed em.
Thanks! When he said that I started laughing and thought it was AMAZING. Your names are crazy awesome too!!!

My hubby named our crab that has the barnacles on his shell Barnacle Bill. I think I shook my head and walked away.

Congrats! I like the names for them. I pondered that name for my pair of Ocies too, but I went with Mork & Mindy. ;) LOL
