How to raise ph?

    Had been slacking on my testing and let my ph drop. its about 7.8 I noticed that I lost an expensive ORA SPS frag and dont want that to happen again!!!
    started dosing slowly with carbonate sulfate "alkalinity plus" and trying to bring it up slowly. Also my KH is an 8 and calcium is 400....suggestions???

    You didnt happen to test earlier in the day did you? I have noticed my ph is low in the morning and at night before the lights go out its right where it needs to be. Just a thought, I'm not sure if you tested late in the day cause your KH seems in the ok range. I would think that would keep your ph right in line so hopefully someone more knowledgeable comes along to help.

    Go ahead and add the alkalinity plus slowly as planned, increase your surface agitation for better gas exchange and open your windows to get CO2 out of your house
