I just picked up my 40breeder today and i just wanted to get an opinion on how i should set it up. the bottom is NOT tempered so Im thinking I should take advantage of it and drill the bottom with a durso. now would this be a good choice or is there somethin better? also can I make an overflow box out of acrylic to use on a glass tank? so basically...

Diy overflow - acrylic or glass?
Diy overflow side style - 2 sides, 3 sides, or 4 sides?
Overflow style - corner, center, horizontal, or box?

    thanks for the help

A drill through side like Bean animal would be my suggestion. You can do it with the pipes or like the glass holes style.

Silicone will not adhere to acrylic, it's too smooth. Trust me I learned the hard way when I built my sump/refuge. I would use glass or plastic, with proper thickness. ;)
