I am wondering how I can streamline my powercords at the back of my tank? At the moment they look VERY NASTY, they are all tangled etc, but I dont actually know how to organise them properly so I can have space for my chiller at the back.

I use those 1" mounting squares with zipties for certain areas to get the wires secure and running out of sight. You can get them at Home Depot or Lowes.

They also make plastic cable ties that can be opened again which I really like. They have a tab under the female end that you can push to release the cable. I'm at work but i'll try to remember to post a picture of them when I get off.

I have miles of power & network cables in my server room at work.

I use zip ties for stuff that isn't going to move often, velcro ties for bundles that I need to add & remove cables on a regular basis.

Zip ties tend to hold up better and feel more permanent. I especially like the mounting zip ties with screw eyes so you can screw them into a wall or a wooden panel.

I use Zip ties and Velcro to mount my hardware and manage my wires.

Yeah, we have rolls of Velcro type stuff that we use in our data centers. I have liberated a few feet of it for A/V and aquarium use.
