How to get clown to stop trying to host Goniopora?

    Yell, scream, and point at them in a non-approving type fashion....if this doesnt work then, removing the coral is the best option...lol ;)

    well then youll just have to accept the fact your clowns are hossting your coral, which in my mind isnt all that bad.

    How long have they been hosting it?

    The coral looks fine in the picture, but I have heard that if clowns host a LPS coral they can cause damage because the soft polyps get pushed against the stony skeleton and can cause tears.

    Mine host my Gonio and I have seen no ill effects in a couple of moths of them doing it.

    Thats good to hear. I think its awesome they are hosting it but i fear its going to end up killing it

    The coral will acclimate to the hosting soon enough don't worry.

    I'll save Vinny the trouble a coral/ anenome HOSTS a clown, unless of course a clown is hosting a party and sent out invitations, then he is hosting! And you better have your camera ready, because that's one cool fish!;)

    True... but the clowns may be unwanted guests and while the coral/ anemone is hosting, it may want to get rid of them, but can't.
