Well, it depends on whether her goal is just to keep it, or "keep it and have a bunch of corals/small fish". Mutually exclusive goals may be in her plans.

Go to the grocery store and buy another lobster. Cook both of them and surprise your gf thinger when she gets home with lobster dinner.

I've never been very good at the whole morals thing. ;D

best to learn quick that she is right IMO. oh you may be technically correct, but she is right. :) I wouldn't touch the lobster with a 10ft pole.

wow lots of responses lol... ive been with her for 2ish years....she wants to be able to keep al sorts of fish in the tank with thiss guy... he has been a pretty good guy untill his last molt, he grew considerably. he managed to take out a 3inch mimic tang and a 2 inch yellow tang before that... he has a thing for taking tails off lager fish.as for how serious things are ... theyr pretty serious but she doesnt want to put a title on it lol ( girls geesh haha)...her mom is in favor of removing it.her moms with me we just cant see putting such investment into a 55 gallon tank to have it taken over by a $15 lobster you never see.that being said her mom wont let her have another tank. shes already making us take down a 10 gallon tank.

she loves purple psuedos but she cant get them to live (i wonder why hmm)they go into the tank shoot into the rock work never to be seen again.

i did have an idea to make an egg crate/ plexi portion in the tank for just him.dont think its gonna go over to well with her though....its not pretty hmmm any and all ideas are welcome.

The frog was in the tank before anything else. Was the lobster the first thing in this other person's tank? The tank was not built to have the lobster, but a reef.

He's trying to help her and the tank, not just himself.
