no unfortunatly I am not explianing how, rather asking how.
I seen some one on her with a nice dark would canopy for a 46 bow. and yes I seen the youtube video for the black one. however I want to make somthing a little more natural or unique. If any one has one please post pics or a how to.

i belive JWIN has a canopy bow front build. it was made lighter. but for those others you saw , couldnt you just change to whatever colored look you want? or borrow a few of their ideas and insitute some of your own?

I'm going to be watching this thread also, as I have an oceanic bow front and it's time for the cheap plastic canopy to go.

If you go to my build thread I had to curve a piece of wood in order to get it to fit my wave front aquarium you can use the same method to get the curve on your bow front canopy. I might do a wave front canopy later but for now I am leaving my open top.

You would make the back and sides as you would any other canopy, and then the front you could use luan(spelling way wrong).

That is a 1/4'' almost plywood like material that bends very easily. It does not look like plywood though, therefore you can paint or stain it whatever color you want.

Then you can detail it with other wood trim if you like!
