A couple week's ago I bought some stuff from the LFS. I wanted to be careful with the Plate Coral, so I didn't let it touch the air, and released it underwater. The tank that it came from looked clean, so I didn't think too much about it. Recently I have noticed some aiptasia, majano anemones, and even bubble algae:-/. I've got aptaisia-x for the anemones, but the bubble algae is going to be harder to get rid of. I was wondering, how do you avoid using LFS water when transferring delicate creatures like sponges or starfish.

drain out as much of their water as you can, then slowly add your water.
repeat until you feel safe that its clean

Thanks, that makes much more sense than pouring the LFS's water directly into the DT, but there is still a chance some spores stay in the water.
