how tall to make stand???

    I actually cut my stnad down to 36" this morning. Standing eye level viewing is great but sitting down and looking into it was too much like sitting in the front row of the movie theater, a pain in the neck. At 36" i have to hunch a little but since the stand is right next to my dining table it's perfect for looking into while having my morning coffe or just eating dinner. It is also really easy to look at from across the room while sitting/laying on the couch.

    I like my tanks a bit under eye level I'm 4' 10" tall and my "stand"(really just a desk) is 27 1\2" with a 11 inch tall tank so I can sit in my chair and look right into the tank.

    Had mine up about 36'' I just like it being up in the air and in your face.
