how much weight to fall through floor

I hope I don't know anyone who lives below you...

 

40 minutes for each prius and like what, a couple minutes only for each American made gas pedal. That does not sound bad, but there are a lot out there.

Busy at work is good, because I can tell you what the opposite means first hand.

 

who has 125gal on legs fishkid2? I was talking about putting the plywood on the bottom of the wood stand to spead the load to a bigger surface area.

 

If you can show me a link to the plans and possibly an exterior photo or two - I could help make a logical guess. Are these condos more like townhouses where they look like two story homes and are connected to each other? Or are we talking high-rise style condos?

A couple of thoughts - most codes these days do not allow common walls between two separate but co-joined dwelling units to be bearing walls - in the event of a fire or collapse. In fact those "shared or party" walls are usually required to have some sort of fire rating or be built with fire resistive materials.

That said, if you live in more of a rowhouse style of condo, your bearing will likely run from front to back of the unit - with some sort of wall possibly at midspan. This keeps your structure independent of your next door neighbor. Also, quite often in this type of construction, your floor joists run parallel with the direction of the roof trusses. So again if your roof slopes front to back, chances are good that your floor structure does the same.

Most importantly - get renters insurance and be open in your communications with the condo management. They can likely help you with this. At the very least you will have done your part.

the prius only takes like 10 mintues, its kinda cool how it works. im lucky enough to have a desktop on my tool box (suprised im not on 3reef more at work;D) i kinda cheated and have the ECU calibration files saved on my desktop so i can skip like 3 steps. the pedals are the big one, alot of confusion too about whats going on. 2 diffrent recalls A0A= most american made toytas with CTS pedals get a reinforcement plate installed in pedals. 90L = ALL camrys' (more models to follow) get gas pedal modified.

its kinda like 3, 3 BR 2.5 bath ranch style houses stacked on top of each other, with another stack attached next door. not sure if that makes sense. ill pm you if i get more info.
