    Be careful with adding liquid foods!!!! They are often not necessary and will just contribute to degraded water quality and spur nuisance algae growth. Sponges, zoos(symbiotic-requiring light) and feather dusters are filter feeders or absorb nutrients through their tissue, or will sieve nitrates and phosphates and other matter from your water, so feeding them is not necessary!

    I just replied this same misive on the "what is this" forum...but same applies here ...Local Fish Stores Lie To Everyone....Yep for sure..its ALL a sales pitch...buyer beware..you learn or get burned. that sounds right. go slow..let it grow(sorry wise ones)... learn as you burn....I hate to put the two together...but without these forums...it would be awful.

    Right on...I'm only guessing...but I think it feels better....I have dogs and cats ...but these damn fish...even my dog is looking at me like.."hey" how 'bout a walk ??? lol
