How much flow thru carbon?

    I dont run mine in a series. I have mine split that way I can control the amount of flow to each one individually.

    a small powerhead ~200gph or smaller will work with the 2LF PhosbanReactor150 used for carbon. The reactor comes with a gatevalve which you'll want to use to adjust the flow, you don't want the carbon churning, just the top 1/4" slightly bubbling. I use one of these reactors for carbon, but I T-off from my return pump to feed the reactor.

    I was considering that, but my sump is crowded enough.

    Mine dont take up any room in the sump as I have them outside the sump. i couldnt fit them in my sump either.

    im probably pushing 300gph through my BRS carbon canister. as ppl have already stated just make sure the carbon is kept in place by a mesh filter or something.
