    total invested in my 58g tank to get it where I'm happy now is probably around $2000-2500

    So far on my 180 build that's still sitting dry in my back warehouse at my store... about $3500. I know I have at least another $1500 to go before it's ready for water.

    And none of that takes into account the ongoing maintenance costs.... probably $500 a year on power, food, chems, and bulbs for the 58, double that for the 180.

    Jeeez... I hate to count but for the custom tank (with optical glass) and the equipment about $4500 plus the lifestock ... corals and fish about $700.... and I just started this tank! Europe and especially Spain is soooo expensive. Everything has to be custom ordered and costs about 20% more than in the US :( ....
