    I honestly stopped counting, don't really want to know :). I know I've logged about $1700 at the LFS in fish/corals though

    well just Ive had this FO saltwater tank since 1999. probly dont even want to think about how much in livestock,chemicals,testkits,food, etc but it enough to buy a car.. but this tank was converted to a reef almost 1 year ago.. its probly been a couple K anyways since that point last year. and its only a 55g lol

    For one year of saltwater Im probably $5k plus.. I know I added it up when I got my 30 gallon all set up the way I liked I was about $2900 and its just going up..

    Haven't kept tabs because this is a hobby which hopefully means entertainment. Put a price on it will remove the entertainment value.

    thousands on equipment and stock for just 2 small tanks. I dont even want to think about the utilities bills this hobby has piled up.

    My 55g tank, when I set it up, will be nearly $1000 in equipment/LR/etc. This does not include livestock or corals.

    $6-800 in equipment
    $200 in LR

    lions/anglers (died, i was inexperienced and impulse buyed a lot)=90

    roughly 812 dollars, but im sure that ive spent more.

    I would guess around $4-5K at this point. Had to really cut back on buying "unnecessary" things as I am still happily unemployed. I havent had to go to work for over 16 months now ;D. Aside from not getting to spend money like I used to the economy going to the crapper has worked good for me. Although I still look for a decent job everyday.
