How Many Pods?

How many pods would you guys say an oscillating dragonet, or any dragonet for that matter, eats in a day? Hundreds? Thousands? I'm just curious and can't really find that info.

 

Im not really sure what the answer is but I would say a lot. I have a spotted mandarin and he is constantly picking at the rocks but most pods are so small its hard to tell what they are picking at or eating. If you want one I would just say have as much LR as possible and I also added pods and I use PackLeader's bucket of pods idea as well. Even with that I think it helps a lot if you can find a mandarin that eats prepared foods. Mine loves bloodworms and brine shrimp too. Sorry if that doesnt really answer your question but thats the best that I can answer it

 

i to have a mandarin.. Like stated above its hard to tell just how many its eats... I know when they start to go hungry or not doin so well they will of course get skinny and start to loose color...

generally speaking they eat one every few seconds. thats a little over 100 an hour. then it depends how long its awake etc. as previously said its easy to tell if theyre getting enough food or not by their belly size and colors.
