those fish are all small fish so you might be able to add a sixline.

how much rock, and sand do you have?
    protein skimmer?
    water changes?

no blue tang. they are ick prone and being in that small of an aquarium would be very bad for its health. for any ammount of time.

Since most are smaller you could get away with it, but you will have to keep up with water changes & it would benefit greatly to have a sump for added water capacity. SW stocking levels are much lower than FW as the negative swings in water params can happen quickly. In a tank that small, you can easily crash it if you aren't very responsible with it.

So, I guess my answer is only "yes" if you are responsible about it. Many will say that is overstocked for a tank that small though.

Big "no" on the blue tang, no matter how small, they need a tank at least 55g to start with and then 100g+ as they get older. They grow very fast, eat like pigs, will get very aggresive as they become cramped.

no skimmer water changes every two weeks 30 lbs of sand and rock. would it be better to sell on such as my clown goby or it woudl make a difference since he is so small.

you can add the sixline and should be fine. work on getting a skimmer. CPR backpack skimmers are good for that size of tank. usually are around 50 dollars used.

just no blue tang. its inhumane

Get a skimmer if you want that many fish, that's my best advice. You can keep the clown goby, they're so small won't be a problem. Just don't get a Blue Hippo no matter how bad you want it and even if it looks teeny tiny, trust me, I had a small one in my 55g turned into a real bully & took me forever to get it out.

Also do you have 30lbs of rock or rock + sand total? I would get more rock if you have under 20lbs, that will help the biological filtration.

I think that you already have too many fish, IMHO.

So I changed my mind about the six line. I wanna add a green goby which as tiny as well as another bar goby. could this be done if i get a protein skimmer?
