    Questions:

    - what size tank?

    - why do you have 6 90s?

    210 dt 120 sump

Pump is on one side of the tank then had to go to the center for the scwd then scwd over and up(scwd is centered to the tank)

Did you use the RC calculator for that?

My first thought was that a 1" return line is not big enough for a pump used on a 210. I would use 1-1/4" minimum, preferably 1-1/2". A 1" pipe would create too much friction loss for the amount of flow needed.

I had a Mag 24 running for a year with 1" pipe. It was a huge mistake. Upgraded to a Dart, but the flow was no better. After reading about friction loss here http://www.reeflopumps.com/images/tips.pdf I increased the return plumbing from 1" to 1-1/2". Almost overflowed the 125 within a minute of firing the Dart back up. The difference in flow was HUGE. You can see why when you compare the difference in friction from a 1" to a 1-1/2" pipe in the Reeflo chart.

All of my tanks have 1-1/2" returns now. I have a Mag 9 that feeds a 125 reef and a 30 breeder, and the pump has to be throttled back to about 60% or it will overflow both tanks. Dual 1" drains on the 125 and 1-1/4" drain on the 30. 1-1/2" returns on both tanks.
