    hello hello all!

Ro requires no recirculation, no power head BUT if there is salt in it, it would have to be used... Ro lasts forever without the salt.

    Good luck!

I was under the impression the R/O unit strips the water of any oxygen?,
running the powerhead is not for circulation, if the water is moving it will help add oxygen to it!

What do you need oxygen in it for? Topoff water is done in such small amounts that it doesn't matter and when you mix it with salt you should then start with the powerhead. I don't know what else you would do with RODI water that would require aeration.

When I do an water change every two weeks, I make up the next batch of water and I even put in the salt. I have it in 5 gal buckets with lids. I just stir it up and check salt levels again before I put it into my tank!
