I have three of what I believe are dispar anthias, all female. I've had them for about a month or so, they are eating well and happy. It is my understanding that in the absense of a male, the dominante female would morph into a male. I havent seen this happen yet, and was wondering how long it takes, or what I should be seeing? Is there anything I can do to encourage the morph? There are pics of the fish in my tank build thread.

Th time is different for each tank but usually depends on how comfortable the fish are in the tank. After a few months of adjusting to aquarium life they will start to show interest in mating.
In the wild the male of the hariem will have a dorsal fun that is red and usually larger than the females. In aquaria however the transition usually does not produce as bright of colors as that of the wild.
Your females have developed a "pecking order" and the most dominant female will be the one to transition into male eventually
