    +1 on Horkn with Rena
I have had a 200 watt Rena since 2007 so over 3 years now
but as it only has to work for 6 weeks per annum, then thats not a valid endorsement really

i have an aquaclear in my 55gal cichlid tank thats been in there for 2 years now without issues...

i have hydor 300W units in my reef system which have been working fine now for 6months. i really want a controller to handle my on/off of the heater element instead of its internal circuitry which can fail at any point so i know how you feel when asking this question.

I have the same one but 175W (up to 75 gallons) and it has worked very good so far for the last 6-7 months.
I have it turned off at the moment since there's no need for a heater in this place with hot days coming in. In fact, I wish I had a chiller.
