How do you keep everything organized

Any of you ever hear of something called a fire hazard? Those cables aren't a very large gauge and the electricity running through them is creating a lot of heat. Eventually the plastic will melt in those rats nests.

I hang the strip in my stand as high as possible. I then lable each outlet as well as the equipment cables as close to the plugs as possible. That way you know where to plug everything in and what is what when it is plugged in. I then use zip ties to tie the extra cable into coils and hant it on a screw coming out of the stand.
