    that looks so much better than my little mess, and yup, ive been running and GFCI and has deffiently ocme in handy quite a few times when the skimmer decided to act up on me :D

    hahaha. i did that for so long but finally said enough is enough. the main reason why i label is b/c of an incident that occurred while i was out of town. my roommate has always been great at taking care of my tank when im not around but one day he called be and said the "bubble machine" is doing what we call over skimming or overdriving and the collection cup was overflowing. so i told him just to unplug it... naturally he had no idea where to start so he had to unplug everything one at a time. this would have been fine but at the time i had automated things that if unplugged would need to be manually restarted (i have since gotten rid of this).

    If you can you may want to also organize your power cords so one master switch turns off some things only and leaves other stuff running. For instance if you want to quickly turn off all powerheads etc. for feeding or treating aptasia, or simply to leave lights on only while cleaning.

    use a dj power center like i did.
    everything is on a rocker switch, then i labeled them.
