I cant see anything, however if your polyps are disappearing I bet you do have sometype of zoa eating nudis. Have you added any new zoa in lately, and do you dip your zoas. I have noticed that most zoas you get lately have nudis on them. I freshwater dip and qt all my zoas.

can you remove your polyps and dip them now>

I did get the zoa's and polyps together. I didn't dip them no. So these zoa eating nudis also eat the other type of polyps I have huh? My zoas are full and open haven't seen much decline in them at all. Knowing this I will keep my eyes open for them as well. I also have one lonely mushroom that looks brilliant in color and fullness... With that said, what is the treatment once you have nudis?

freshwater dip.....you get the pH and temp of ro water same as the display, and place the zoa in water, leave for 5 minutes and a couple times you vigerously shake the pieces so you can get in between the polyps.

I also sometimes use lugols in the fw dip, works very well. It will take repeat dosing though, couple times a week and you will have to dip every zoa in the tank. There are also some fish that will eat them, like yellow coris wrasse however I wouldnt recommend in a 29g

the other thing you can look at, is there anything eating them in the tank? Any fish picking at them, or snail/crab eating them? Might not be nudis....could be fish with taste for zoa

Thanks for the advice. I don't know how to give karma but once I figure it out you got some your way lol. I only have two small frags. Dipping them shouldn't be difficult. My first coral experience or coral like-I don't even know if they classify. And as for the wrasse yes my tank is small and also I'm not sure I will add anymore fish. I have two small clowns, one green chromis, and a pink spotted goby. And a robust cleaner crew. So I think I'm full.

In the divergent topic now happening in this thread, zoa eating amphipods do exist. Not all amphipods will eat them, only certain species. I have the zoa eating kind, but they don't eat all the colonies, only certain ones. There's a few theories as to why that may be, but no one ultimately knows.

There's a whole lot of info about that topic on RC.

Just hinting you should start your own thread; no worries.
