here are my parameters for my 55 gallon.
    Nitrite - 0ppm
Nitrate - 40ppm (Was 0 2 days ago, but my filters and pumps have been off for 2 in a half days due to nuking cyano)
    Calc - 480ppm
    ammonia - 0ppm
KH - 13-14 (not sure why this is so high, and has been for awhile)
    phosphate - 0ppm
    My Ph droped to 7.8

I am going to be doing water change here in about 3 hours, its getting close to my 48hour mark. im hoping that after i do my 20% water change that my Nitrate's will go back to norm. but im concerned about my high level of alkalinity and my low level of PH, any one have some advice on that?

What is mag? I don't think i have a test for it.
And how do i go about bringing the PH back up, do i need to get some chems or will it go up by its self?

I just did a 20% water change, my nitrates went to 5ppm from 40ppm, my PH is still 7.8, i need to get that back up, my KH is 13dkh, and everything else is norm, my calcium is still 480.

How do i get me PH up? i tried adding ph plus packets, dissolved in a bucket of tank water then put it back into tank, but it did not help.

my salinity is still 1.021, do you suggest i add another 1/2 cup of sea salt or should i do half of that?

i would continue to use the air pump and open some windows let some fresh air in also u can do the Luna co2 ph test . take a cup of ur water and place it outside with the air pump in it and let it run outside for 30 mins then test ur ph
