How do I run/time my lighting?

    Do I just run 10k and actinic blue all day long or just 10k during day and blue at dawn/dusk? Can someone help explain this?

    What kind of lighting is it? And are you keeping corals? I run my t5s for 12 hrs total actinics from 11am to 11pm and my daylights from 2 until 7.

    Run your actinics in the morning for like an hour, turn on 10k's for 7-8 hours or so and then shut the 10k off and let the actinics run for another hour or so and then the moonlights or whatever after that...

    IN other words :D

    10k's-8 hours
    actinics-10 hours..

    When my corals adjust to my new lighting, i will run it MH 6 hours, actnics 8 hours.
