I found my niger trigger got stuck in between the side of the tank and the background I made and died, by the looks of his tail he was probably being attacked by my other trigger. I have decided the the picasso trigger has definitely got to go now, but unfortunately my LFS doesn't do trade-ins so I'm stuck. This trigger has killed about $180 worth of fish since I got him and he deserves a trip to the freezer, but I'm not that mean. What to do?.........:-/

Maybe you could try putting it for sale on something like ebay or craigslist?

Oh, no, no, no.....he doesn't deserve a trip to the freezer.....you deserve a wagging finger for putting non-compatible fish together!

I've posted on craigslist, not selling I guess I'll keep lowering the price. I really want to get rid of this fish before he's the only one left!

Yes, I knew I was taking a risk when I bought him, but I'm learning the painful way not too mix a bulldog with a poodle. Also, mine came with an extra bit of aggression, usually triggers don't kill each other(except for like undulate, large clowns or large queens).

I would try ebay more people on there then on craigslist and even if he dies during shipping (which i doubt considering they are extremely hardy) its not like you did it intentionally.
