    They are definitely not Duncans...it looks like Aiptasia"Glass Anemone".You really cant tell from the angle the picture was taken...but it has the looks of one.I had a big Aiptasia problem when I added refuge rubble to my sump.They started out looking a lot like your picture.Pretty at first...but looks are deceiving with a lot of hitch hikers.

    It is a type of palythoa, not a duncan, not a majano and not an aptasia.

    well here's the update: The green anemones in the zoa frag were definitely what they were. After the Joes they slowly imploded then shriveled and died in minutes. The original posts where exactly not anemones but palys most likely. They never 'took' the juice. Over 2 hours an they never took it, I left for the hockey game to find the top basically hollowed out. There are still some signs of life, perhaps it will recover, maybe not. It was a freebie.

    post post update: The paly has two small heads still alive. The real news is that the anemones reappeared today after I thought they had died yesterday. This gives me a chance to photo them in the morning and dose the juice again.
