high performance 4-stage spectrapure proplus RO/DI

I just got their 90gpd membrane and matching flow restrictor + RO/DI resin for my current unit. Getting 1 TDS out of the membrane (0 after DI of course) and it's definitely doing the 90gpd volume. Very happy.

 

I've been playing with my Spectrapure ProPlus 90 GPD RO/DI all weekend filling my tank. It is a great unit. It replaced my 1994 SpectraPure CSP RO/DI and there are many nice new features I noticed. As mentioned, the in/out TDS meter is great and I like having the clear canisters to inspect filters at a glance. It has a really nice pressure gauge too. A lot of high-quality parts.

Some things to note when installing, be sure to put teflon tape around the quick connect for the black hose and follow the instructions for determining your waste/clean water ratio to protect the membrane. I had to cut quite a bit of my flow re-stricter to achieve the desired 4 to 1 ratio.

 

thanks matt i dont know much about these units so directions will be very important. i just got tired of running to the LFS to get water. plus with getting a bigger tank i will be well used.

that is perfect. so after i make the pure water from this unit i can just add the salt mix to it and it will be good to go right?
