    The tanks readings are at:
    Calcium 420
    Alkalinity 7 (a little low)
Mag 1140 (also a bit lot)
    Nitrate 0 (usually, sometimes 5-10)
    Nitrite 0
    NH3 0
    pH 8.3
    Salinity 1.024

We do weekly 20% water changes to keep the nitrates down and stable. If we don't do them weekly they start to reach the 5-10 area.

The growth... all I can say is.. amazing. At first nothing seemed to be growing, but everyone seemed happy. Then one day everything just started exploding: the coralline on the walls, we have double the zoas we started with. The sps are almost all showing new growth, and many have attached to the rocks. The birds nest became really fat and almost doubled in height (we have had that one since about a month in.....) The torch split. The red planet is red and hairy, you cannot see the green besides the bottom, we probably should move him down. There are little mushrooms under the big ones. When we bought the apple cap monti, we met in a wawa parking lot. We brought it home and it was brown and so ugly. It is now bright green and growing.

We have only had a few problem corals.. Our ricordea is bleached.... And we recently bought an acan lord that did not do well. They never opened up. We brought them to a lfs and they are recovering. The brain is being attacked by an emerald crab who I am planning on banishing to the sump because the clowns just began hosting it.

The fish are doing well. The clowns paired, one is now obviously bigger, and like I said they began hosting the brain. The ywg and pistol shrimp paired, and both doubled in size, and are now bothering the mushrooms by burying them. The jawfish jumped through the only tiny opening for the wires :( he was one of my favorites.

Yeah I know we should have waited longer to start adding, but a friend was willing to donate us a bunch of frags and I guess we just got excited... I guess we just got lucky. We were 100% new to the hobby.. We even started with tap water for the first month haha. And somehow it worked out great.
