    are they wobbling prior to dissapearing, if so then as WuWu mentioned they might not like the flow and release and get blown to back of reef

    predation is also possible so keep a close eye on the colonies especcially when just actinics are on

    A couple smaller colonies of zoos I've bough I've watched melt away. These were 3-4 head frags. All of my other zoo colonies have been 5+ heads and I haven't had any issues. Make sure there are no vermetid snails near them irritating them and no nuisance algae on the frag plug. That was my problem. I think your lights are sufficient.

    Do you by chance have a lot of asterina stars in your tank?
