I moved my whole CUC into my 6 gal so I could keep the lights off and the temp low to prevent the GHA from spredding or getting worse. I also fixed my water pump so it has better flow. I'm pulling the rock out tommorrow and tweezing what I can when I do my water change. Hopefully it will be fine.

Sounds great, a tooth brush works well, also. And the cuc to maintain it. If space is an issue, it cant be helped. But IMO a 55 is easier. Equipment is more expensive, but smaller water changes, parameters stabilized easier, etc. I'll admit, cubes can be very expensive. I have a 29 gal biocube freshwater tank.

    Thanks everyone,

I did the toothbrush when I first started notincing the fuzz. I took out each rock (that's the nice thing of a 12 gal, I have like 5 major rocks:cheesy:) Scrubbed each rock, rincing it carefully so not to ressed. and it came back thicker.

Then I read you are NOT sapose to scrub! oops. So now I am tweezing.
