    fomr what I've been reading, some others have had similar experiences with algae when their lights get about 9 or 10 months old. I think I am going to start replacing them every 6 months. I just hope my coral come back as nice as they were.

    I just ordered my lights, I ordered different one that were a bit more money, so I hope they help everything.

    I took a pic of my tank this morning and it's soooo sad.:( But hopefully soon, I will be posting pics of me putting it back together with no algae.

    Then I can start working on my 6 gal, I never really did set it up with coral. I was so nervous of it crashing because it was so small.

    Welcome to 3reef! It's great to have you here. :D as for tha GHA, a CUC from reefcleaners would help. And if your cube does fail, there are always great deals on craigslist! I recently got a great deal on a 55. :)

    I would LOVE to have a larger one, but I don't have the space, or the money:eek:. I can't believe how much I have spent on my tanks and they are so small. I'd be in HUGE trouble if I got something like a 55.
