Hey from VA

    Hi 3reef!
    I am a highschooler who got into saltwater this summer. I have had a 34 gallon FOWLR tank running for about 3-4 months. I am currently using a HOB BH1000 Protein Skimmer, 2 koralia power-heads, and around 35 lbs of live rock.

    My livestock includes:
    2 Ocellaris Clownfish
    8 hermit crabs (Burgundy/Blue leg) I used to have trochus snails but these little guys figured out how to flip them over and eat them :p
    1 Randalls Pistol Shrimp
    And 1 Randall's Shrimp Goby on the way

    So far I have been having a blast with saltwater and I am looking to possibly making this into a reef tank in the future :)

    did you get your battery pump? all the petsmarts here were out of stock as of last night, and the LFS was closed for the storm, so I'll be ready with my spoon for some water movement if we lose power tonight hahahaha

    I bought mine last year after Irene at the LFS.
    I got some new batteries today and tested it out to make sure it was working properly.
