    I'm new to the Salt water game, though very enthusiastic. I have about 5yrs in FW. I figured this was the next logical step. I just started cycling a 125g future reef tank a few days ago and doing as much research as I can while I wait. I've been out of the hobby for a few years and am hitting the learning curve very hard. I find that I tend to overthink and overanalyze just about everything which makes it seem a lot harder than it really is. I've found that everyone has an opinion on everything and that you have to take most things with a grain of salt. so far i've learned that a big part of this is a lot of patience which seems to pay off in the end and learning from other peoples mistakes.
    I just wanna say thx in advance for all the help that I'm gonna need and I look foreward to talking to most of you in the future.

    Duuuuuuuude!!!! Welcome to 3reef man. And I share your overanalyzation trait. It will drive you nuts in this hobby, so learn to control that one dude. And you're right on with the opinions. There are many, many ways to make a beautiful, healthy and thus successful reef tank.

    And you will learn very quickly where the mistakes are and what the not-so-good products are. We are pretty much all on the same page there. Mostly because we have been exactly where you are. At the beginning of the learning curve.

    So read, read, read these threads. Even the ones that do not pertain to you. Soon enough, it will!!!! Later man.......John.
