Just a little to begin with from our South East Queensland Aquarium Society promotion as usual and now with you guys on our marine fish and invert collecting adventures in South East Q.

There have been a few trips since the last thread when I copy some of our pics around as we have from one to four trips per month on average and the club members have collected their own since the 1920s when the club was first formed.

Personally what I get from now on will be given to mates of other club members because my reef tank is 98 percent full of life now and the tubs are full of what will be put into the fish only tank below the reef tank when I get around to building that one as well.

I have prepared the glass for both tanks with very little left to cut, but have only put one together and built and matured the filtration that will sustain up to five aquariums off it easily, so that the two will never have a problem.

These are the few pics copied over to hopefully entertain your forum users and especially promote the club, aandtsociety.

A cute little vroliki pearl scale angel that was quite a challenge to collect.
Lots of centropyge around this year and a semi or two as well.

Always heaps of feather duster worms at our particular spots.

Thanks for sharing with us. Very cool pictures! :) What are the guidelines for collection along Southeast Queensland?

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Enjoyed the images very much, especially like the tabling acropora with the blue surgeons.

    Thanks for sharing.

Thanks guys and no I didn’t pet the grey nurse, we aren’t allowed to touch them here, as they are a protected species.

We have some wonderful dive sites plus temperate and tropical currents converge here making the varied life forms very diverse, more so than many areas.

I will include your site each time if you like when I put our club promotion pics of our collecting trips around the net.

We have a club thread on everything on any part of collecting, if you want to look at all laws, how to where to and how it will be before you get there, every thing is in it.
