    why what would i need. ps the bubbles i stated that i have in my tank are not because of the skimmer as i do not have it on yet.i will turn it on once the cycle has finished just incase you thought they were from my skimmer

    im not sure what live rock it is but the reviews on it are really good here is a link to the site im using.im getting the premium live rock.

    I was getting at the fact that the skimmer is going to produce a lot of bubbles, and that you probably need to do something about that.

    IMO check marcorocks.com or reefcleaners.org for some base rock. they sell some sexy stones haha. with my canister i basically set it up as a reactor and used GFO and Carbon in it... i hate mechanical filtration. good luck! :)

    usally I think:

    Carbon, bio-balls or bio-media, and nitrate/phosphate remover.
